2. Platform Usage (FireVue Events)

Our website and registration system are operated via the FireVue Events platform (events.firevue.app).

• Data Processing Agreement: We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA/AVV) with the provider of FireVue Events in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. This ensures that FireVue Events processes your data only according to our instructions and for the technical execution of the event.

• Provider’s Privacy Policy: Since the technical infrastructure is provided by FireVue Events, their privacy policy also applies. This covers aspects such as database hosting and technical security measures.

3. Collection and Processing of Data

When you register for the CHAD event, we collect the following data:

• Master Data: Name, email address, and any other information provided in the registration form.

• Profile Content: If you upload a profile picture, it will be stored on the FireVue Events servers.

• Purpose: Processing is carried out exclusively for the organization, implementation, and billing of the event (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

4. Payment Processing via Stripe

We use the payment service provider Stripe to process participation fees.

• When you make a payment, your payment details (e.g., credit card info, bank details) are transmitted directly to Stripe.

• We receive only a confirmation of successful payment from Stripe; we do not have access to your full bank or credit card details.

• The legal basis for this transmission is the fulfillment of the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). You can find information on Stripe's data protection at: stripe.com/privacy.

5. Sharing of Data

Your data will not be shared with unauthorized third parties. Sharing only occurs with:

1. FireVue Events (as the technical service provider).

2. Stripe (for payment processing).

3. Other participants, if applicable (only profile picture/name, provided you share these within the platform's features).

6. Data Retention

We store your data only as long as necessary for the execution and subsequent processing of the event (e.g., tax retention periods). Thereafter, the data will be deleted, provided there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary.

7. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to:

• Access your data stored by us.

• Rectification of incorrect data.

• Erasure of your data (unless a legal obligation to retain it exists).

• Object to the processing of your data.
