Welcome to CHAD 2026 (hereinafter "Website"). This website is used for event registration and is operated on the FireVue Events platform. By using this website, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

1. Use of the Website

This website is intended exclusively for the organization and registration of the CHAD event. The website is hosted and operated via the FireVue Events platform (events.firevue.app). Registered users may create a profile including a profile picture. Some of this information (profile picture) may be visible to other participants, while other data (registration details) is accessible only to event administrators.

2. Registration

Registration is required to sign up for the event. You agree to provide truthful and complete information during the registration process. Technical processing of the registration is handled by FireVue Events.

3. Payment of Participation Fee

Payment of the participation fee is processed digitally via the payment service provider Stripe. By completing the payment, you accept Stripe's terms and conditions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, payment via bank transfer or cash is not provided. Registration is only considered binding once the payment process has been successfully completed.

4. Platform Operation and Data Protection (DPA)

This website is provided using the infrastructure of FireVue Events (events.firevue.app). A Data Processing Agreement (DPA/AVV) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR exists between the event organizer and FireVue Events. In addition to these terms, the Privacy Policy of FireVue Events applies, as it forms the technical basis for data processing.

5. Prohibited Use

The following actions are prohibited:

• The distribution of spam or other unsolicited content.

• Misuse of the platform, particularly to the detriment of other users or the organizers.

• Uploading illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content.

6. User-Generated Content

By uploading profile pictures, you warrant that you hold the necessary rights to this content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of third parties. By uploading, you grant the organizer and the FireVue Events platform the simple right to display the images within the scope of the event website.

7. Disclaimer

Use of the website is at your own risk. The organizer assumes no liability for the continuous availability of the FireVue Events platform or for the accuracy of content posted by users.

8. External Services

In addition to the FireVue Events platform and the payment provider Stripe, other technical tools (e.g., for hosting or analytics) may be used as part of the platform services. For details on these services and how your data is handled, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to the Terms of Use

The organizer reserves the right to adapt these Terms of Use at any time, particularly in the event of technical changes to the FireVue Events platform. Changes will be published on the website. Continued use of the site constitutes your consent to the updated terms.
