CHAD 2026 – „walk with me" –It is the major conference for young single adults (ages 18–35) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the DACH region. 4.5 days filled with fellowship, inspiration, activities, and unforgettable experiences—right on the Wanger Sea in Lower Saxony.

It’s for all young single adults between the ages of 18 and 35 who are members or friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—whether from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Whether you’ve attended several times before or this is your very first time—you’re warmly welcome!

This conference focuses on young single adults. Therefore, the conference is intended solely for this target group.

Absolutely. Many participants are coming for the first time—and this event is designed especially for them. You don’t have to know anyone to come. You’ll meet people who are in the same boat as you. The motto “Walk with Me” says it all: No one walks alone here.

Yes—from the bottom of our hearts. Especially if you’ve recently been baptized or are still getting to know the church, CHAD can be a wonderful place to meet like-minded people, deepen your faith, and form genuine friendships. You’ll see: you belong here.

€140 per person – and that’s an exceptionally low price. The actual cost of the event is significantly higher; the difference is generously subsidized by the church. The price includes:

✅ Accommodation (Monday through Friday)

✅ Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

✅ The entire program (workshops, evening events, activities)

✅ Use of all the resort’s recreational facilities

The registration deadline is May 20, 2026. Those who register early not only secure their spot but also have the chance to receive attractive extras (→ see Early Bird promotions).

If you need financial assistance to cover the registration fee or travel expenses, please speak with your branch president or bishop.

We would be delighted if you could attend the entire conference. If, for whatever reason, you need to arrive later or leave earlier, we understand, and we’re still happy to have you there.

We recommend that all participants stay at the Wangerland Resort so they can fully experience the conference, network with others, and make the most of their time together.

The CHAD conference is aimed at the German-speaking world. Therefore, the entire conference will be held in German.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund the registration fee. However, you have the option of finding someone else to take your place. You can work out the financial details between yourselves. If you let us know, we can transfer your spot to the new participant.

Each day of the conference begins with scripture study and morning devotions (7:30–9:30 a.m.), followed by workshops and seminars in the morning. In the afternoon, you’ll have a wide range of activities to choose from. A special program awaits you in the evening.

The program is designed to provide structure without being restrictive. Of course, we’d love to have you join us—but you’re also free to make your own schedule.

At the Wangerland Resort, right on the shores of Lake Wanger. Accommodations are included in the all-inclusive package. Details about room types and occupancy will be provided after registration.

Yes – breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included in the price of €140.

Please let us know when you register if you have any special dietary requirements. Since we’ll have a buffet available, you can put together a meal that suits your needs.

Please bring the following: 

• Clothing and toiletries  

• Swimwear (including for the textile sauna) 

• Large bath towel  

• Clothing for the ball  

• Sunday best  

• Sportswear, if applicable

• Sports equipment such as soccer balls, volleyballs, etc. is also welcome

The standards outlined in “For a Strong Youth” will be in effect during the conference. We invite all participants to help make this conference a spiritual and respectful environment and to contribute, through their dress, language, and behavior, to creating an atmosphere where the Spirit of the Lord can be present.

Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces available at Wangerland Resort.

The resort is located in Wangerland, Lower Saxony. Information on how to get there by car or train, as well as details on carpooling, will be provided well in advance of the event.

If you travel by train: Take the train to Jever, then take bus line 212 toward Schillig Ort to the Hohenkirchen Wangerland Jellistede/Spielstadt stop, and from there it’s about a 400-meter walk to the Wangerland Resort

We plan to set up a platform or group where participants can organize carpools. Details will follow after the registration deadline.
