Organization settings reference
Open Settings from your organization to manage how it appears and who can access it. The page is grouped into a few sections.
Public Information
The basics attendees see:
- Name — your organization's display name, shown on public pages and emails.
- Contact email — the address attendees can reach you at.
- Logo — uploaded through the media picker and shown across your pages and emails.
- Favicon — the small icon shown in the browser tab.
Language & appearance
Your shared look and languages:
- Languages — which languages your organization offers and which is the default. See SEO & multi-language pages.
- Styles — your brand palette, typography, buttons, and input styles, applied across your public pages. See Branding your organization.
Members
Invite people, set their roles, and remove them. See Inviting & managing your team and Roles & permissions.
Manage
The final Manage tab contains the organization status and, for owners, the option to delete the organization.
- Live is the default. Organization websites are public, and each event follows its own status.
- Private restricts all organization and event websites and apps to organization or event team members, regardless of an event's own status. Non-archived event Terminals continue to work.
- Demo behaves like Private, but only a FireVue superuser can enter or leave this status. Organization admins see the status but cannot change it.
When an organization is Private or Demo, its persistent status bar takes precedence over any event status bar throughout the admin area. Click a Private organization bar to open Settings → Manage. The Demo bar is not a link because only FireVue can change it.
Delete Organization permanently removes the organization and everything in it. This also cancels your subscription, with the exception of custom contracts. This can't be undone, so use it with care.
Good to know: Your organization's web address (its slug) is chosen when you create it and can't be changed afterwards.
