AI & your data

The assistant is helpful precisely because it can work with your real data — but it does so within clear limits.

What it can access

The assistant can read and act on the organization and events you already have access to — the same things you'd see in the dashboard. It looks up only what it needs to answer your question or carry out your request.

Boundaries that protect you

• Your permissions apply. The assistant can never do something your role can't. Read-only members get answers but not changes; only editors and admins can make changes. See Roles & permissions.
• Your organization only. It works within your organization — it doesn't reach into other organizations' data.
• It runs on our servers. Requests are processed server-side as part of FireVue, not from your browser.

Personal data

When you ask about participants, the assistant can show names and emails because you're an admin who already has that access — but it sticks to what's relevant and doesn't surface extra personal details unnecessarily.

Where your data is processed

Different tasks use different AI models, and we choose them with your privacy in mind:

• Anything involving participant or personal data — questions about registrations, looking someone up, analysing your signups — is handled only by an AI provider based in the European Union (Mistral). Your data stays in the EU, is never used to train AI models, and is kept for at most 30 days for security and abuse prevention before being deleted.
• Content and setup features — editing landing pages, drafting copy, configuring an event — may use other AI providers. These run under data-processing agreements with EU-approved safeguards, and they're not meant to receive personal data.

Keep personal data out of content fields

When you write landing-page text, event descriptions, or other free-text settings, don't paste in participants' personal details — names, emails, or anything that identifies a specific person. Those fields are for public-facing content. Keep personal data in the parts of FireVue built for it (like participants and signup forms), where it's handled by the EU model described above.
