Configuring your terminal flow
Open Terminal from your event to design exactly what happens when an attendee checks in. It works like the other builders: you arrange blocks into a sequence.
Add and arrange steps
Drag blocks into the wizard and order them. The built-in blocks are:
- Scan QR Code — the camera step that reads a ticket.
- Finish — the closing screen that confirms check-in and returns to the start for the next person.
Some blocks are fixed in place or can't be removed, since a working terminal needs them. Plugins you've enabled may add their own blocks too.
Customize each step
Every block has properties you can set — titles, subtitles, and messages. These are localized, so you can write them in each of your event's languages and attendees see their own.
Handling payments at the door
If an attendee still owes a balance when they check in, the Terminal shows a payment notice and prompt them to pay before finishing. This is handy for events that also take payment on arrival.
Save
Your terminal configuration is saved to the event, ready to use on any device. See Terminal & Kiosk overview to run it.
💡 Tip: Describe the check-in flow you want to the AI assistant and it can set up the terminal steps for you.
