The participants mobile app

FireVue Events (shown as "Events" on the phone) is the native iOS and Android app for your participants. It shows their ticket as a QR code — even offline — and renders the event pages you design, wrapped in a native app shell with a configurable tab bar.

💡 The app is a premium feature: it is included with selected plans. If your plan does not include it, the Mobile App section in your event dashboard shows an upgrade prompt.

What participants get

• Your event, as an app — the pages you build appear inside a native app with a system-style top bar and tab bar.
• Ticket QR in the top bar — one tap opens their ticket. It is cached on the device, so it works even with bad connectivity at the venue.
• Event switcher — participants attending several FireVue events switch between them in the top bar. Only events with the mobile app enabled appear.
• Language switcher — shown automatically when your event supports more than one language.
• Profile — the FireVue-wide account (name, email, password) opens from the top-left profile button.

Enabling the app for your event

1. Open Mobile App in your event dashboard sidebar.
2. Click Enable mobile app. This creates an App Home page, makes your Account page available in the app, and sets up the default tab bar with those two tabs.

Designing app pages

App pages are normal pages in Landing Pages — you design them with the same editor as your website. Once the app is enabled, each event page has an Available on setting:

• All — shown on both (the default — most pages work anywhere).
• Web — website only.
• App — participants app only.

Pages that are available in the app get a small smartphone badge in the page list. Remember that app pages render without your website header and footer — the app's own bars replace them.

Configuring the tab bar

In the Mobile App section you arrange 2–5 tabs. Each tab has:

• a page (any public page set to App or All),
• an icon from the curated icon set,
• a label per language.

The first tab is the app's home — it is what participants see when they open your event.

The "Open in app" button

Add the Open in app block (Registration category) to any web page. When a logged-in participant taps it, the app opens already signed in with your event selected — no manual login. If the app is not installed, a page with App Store and Google Play links is shown instead; after installing, participants sign in once with their FireVue account.

Good to know

• Changes to pages and the tab bar reach the app within a couple of minutes (participants may need to reopen the event).
• Tickets follow the same rules as on the web: the QR appears once the ticket is unlocked (payment completed).
