AI credits & usage

Using the assistant consumes AI credits. Your plan includes an allowance, and each request draws from it based on the work involved.

How usage is counted

More involved requests — drafting a whole page, analyzing a large dataset — use more than a quick question. Usage is tracked against your organization's allowance, so everyone on your team draws from the same pool.

You find your current usage when you open a AI chat and click on the little info button in the top right corner. Your usage resets monthly.

Running low

When you approach your limit, the assistant will let you know. To keep going, upgrade your plan for a larger allowance — see Managing your subscription.

💡 Tip: Clear, specific requests get you the result in fewer steps — which also keeps credit usage efficient.
