Create your first event
An event is its own space inside your organization. It holds everything for one occasion: its registration form, pages, schedule, and participant list. Creating one takes just a few seconds — you fill in the details afterwards.
Create the event
From your organization's dashboard, click Create event and enter two things:
- Name — what your event is called. This is shown to attendees.
- Slug — the event's piece of the web address. We suggest one automatically from the name; you can edit it. It has to be unique within your organization, so if it's already taken we'll offer you a free alternative.
Confirm, and your event is created — you're taken straight to its dashboard.
Creating events requires an active subscription, and your plan sets how many events you can run at once. If you hit the limit, see Plans & what's included.
Set the essentials
On the event dashboard, fill in the information attendees care about most — your date & time and location — and pick a starting template. That's enough to have a presentable event. You don't have to do it by hand: just describe your event and the AI assistant will fill in the details and content for you.
For the full list of options — capacity, visibility, status, and more — see the Event settings reference, or take the Event dashboard tour to see where everything lives.
Next step
With your event in place, build your registration form to decide what to collect from your attendees.
