Field types reference

The Form Builder offers eight field types. Every field has a label, can be marked required, and stores its label per language so it shows correctly to each attendee.

Text

A single-line text box — names, companies, short answers. Options: placeholder, required.

Number

A numeric input. Options: placeholder, required, minimum, and maximum value.

Text area

A multi-line text box for longer answers. Options: required and rows (the visible height, 1–20).

A single choice from a list. Options: required and a list of options, where each option can carry a price and a capacity.

Checkboxes

Multiple choices from a list. Options: required, a list of options (each with optional price and capacity), and allow custom option so attendees can add their own "other" entry.

Radio buttons

Exactly one choice from a list. Same options as checkboxes: required, options (with optional price and capacity), and allow custom option.

Date

A date picker. Options: required and include time (to collect a time alongside the date).

File upload

Lets attendees upload files, stored privately in your event's Drive. Options: required, maximum number of files, accepted file kinds (images, PDFs, or other), and where uploads are filed (an automatic folder or one you choose).

Prices and capacities on dropdown, checkbox, and radio options are what power ticket tiers and add-ons — see Free & paid registration and Capacity, availability & waitlists.
