Security & privacy overview

FireVue Events is built to keep your data, and your attendees' data, safe and compliant.

Behind the scenes, FireVue runs on European infrastructure: your account, events, and attendee records live in an EU-hosted database, and uploaded files are stored in a bucket inside the European Union. Every external provider that touches your data — hosting, storage, payments, email, and AI — is bound by a data processing agreement, and any transfer outside the EU relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. On top of that, we apply technical and organizational safeguards — encryption, strict access controls, and continuous security review — to protect your data against loss or unauthorized access, in line with the GDPR.

The essentials

  • EU-hosted — your data is stored and processed in the European Union.
  • Encrypted — data is protected in transit and at rest.
  • GDPR-compliant — the platform is designed around European data-protection rules.

Access is controlled

Only people you invite can see your organization and events, and what they can do is governed by their role. Give people the least access they need. See Roles & permissions.

Privacy-friendly by default

The built-in web analytics use no cookies and don't track individual visitors — you get the trends without collecting personal data. See Web analytics.

Your attendees' data

When attendees register, the personal data they provide is yours to manage. FireVue processes it on your behalf under a data processing agreement. See Data processing & the DPA and Data export & deletion.
