Signature

The Signature plugin collects a signature from attendees — for waivers, liability forms, codes of conduct, or any terms they need to accept.

Set the terms

Write the agreement text attendees must accept. It's shown above the signature pad, so people see exactly what they're signing.

Security

Signatures are saved with a FreeTSA proof. What this does is, that it takes the time of signature, your waiver text and the signature itself and through FreeTSA, an external and independant timestamp authority, it saves a hash. This enables you to prove, that this signature was indeed given at a specific time, and not altered later on. You ensure that no one can claim that you have forged the signature recently.

Where attendees sign

  • On your page — add a signature-pad block in the Web Builder, so attendees sign as part of engaging with your event page.
  • At check-in — add it as a step in the Terminal, so attendees sign on arrival before they're admitted.

On the admin side

Each participant's signature appears as a preview in your participant table, so you have a record of who signed.

Signature is a premium plugin. Check whether it's included in your plan under Plans & what's included.
