Confirmation & notification emails

Keep attendees informed automatically — the right email at the right moment, in their language.

Ticket confirmation email

Under Settings → Payment Settings, use Send Confirmation Emails to email each participant when their ticket becomes available (for example, once their registration is complete or their payment clears). This is enabled by default.

Customizing the title and message

Select Configure Email to replace the default title and message — and because they're stored per language, each attendee gets them in theirs. Use it to welcome people, share what to bring, or set expectations for the day.

What attendees get

Along with the confirmation, attendees can add their ticket to their phone as a QR code and optionally an Apple or Google Wallet pass. See Apple & Google Wallet passes.

Showing or hiding the QR code

Not every event needs check-in — if you're running a ceremony, party, or anything without ticket scanning, you can turn off the QR code (and wallet pass links) in the confirmation email from the event's payment settings. This keeps the email focused on the confirmation itself instead of a ticket nobody will scan.

Promoting the FireVue Events app

If you've enabled the FireVue Events mobile app for your event, the confirmation email can also include links to download it from the App Store and Google Play — handy for event chat, schedules, and more. This is on by default whenever the app is enabled, and can be turned off in the same payment settings if you'd rather not promote it there.

💡 Tip: If confirmation emails aren't arriving, check the troubleshooting guide — it's usually a spam-filter or address issue.
