Search the admin panel
FireVue Events has a built-in spotlight search — a command palette that finds anything in your admin panel in a couple of keystrokes, instead of clicking through the sidebar.
How to open it
- Click the search icon in the top header, next to Help.
- Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from anywhere in the admin panel.
- Or open the AI assistant and switch to the Search tab — it's the same window, just a different mode.
What it can search
- Admin pages — Settings, Insights, Participants, Plugins, Drive, and more, by name or description.
- Page sections — jump straight to a sub-section like Settings → Members, Insights → Web Analytics, or Plugins → Installed, and it scrolls you right there.
- Events and organizations — find any other event or organization you're a member of.
- Drive files and folders — search by file or folder name across your organization's Drive.
- Installed plugins — find a plugin instance by its nickname.
- Participants — while you're inside an event, search by name or email (not available outside an event).
- Learning articles — this help center, so you can find a guide without leaving the admin panel.
Using the results
Type at least two characters — results appear as you type, grouped by type. Use the arrow keys and Enter to pick a result without touching the mouse, or just click it. Press Escape to close.
💡 Tip: Search and the AI assistant share the same window and the same toggle buttons — switch between "Search" and "Ask AI" without closing it.
