Ticket fees & commission
When you sell paid registrations, FireVue takes a small commission on each ticket. Free events have no commission at all.
How it's calculated
The commission is a percentage of the ticket price, with a minimum amount per ticket so very cheap tickets still cover costs. Some plans also apply a cap, so the fee never exceeds a set amount on expensive tickets. The exact percentage, minimum, and cap depend on your plan — see the pricing page for the current figures.
How it's collected
Attendees pay you directly, and the commission is noted automatically as part of the transaction. You will receive the full participants payment, but with your next invoice you will see a line item for the comission of the previous billing period. To accept automatic payments, you connect your Stripe account first: see Collecting payments with Stripe.
Note: Stripe may charge its own standard payment-processing fees, this depends on your Stripe account and has no connection to FireVue.
