Signup form insights
The Form Insights tab on the event's Insights page gives you a summary of every question on your signup form — one card per question, with the answers drawn as the chart that fits that question's answer type. It's the "responses summary" view: good for reading the shape of your answers at a glance, not for reading individual submissions (open Participants for that).
Open Insights in the event sidebar, then switch to the Form Insights tab.
What each card shows
At the top of the tab: how many people have signed up, how many questions your form has, and the overall answer rate (the share of all questions that got an answer). Each card then shows the question, how many people answered it, how many left it blank, and:
- Single choice / dropdown — a donut chart with each option's count and percentage. Answers to a deleted option, or free-text "other" entries, are grouped into Other / custom.
- Multiple choice — a bar for each option, as a percentage of the people who answered. Because people can tick more than one box, these can add up to more than 100%.
- Number — the total (sum of every answer — useful for questions like "how many children are you bringing"), plus how many answered, the minimum, average, median and maximum. If the question only has a handful of distinct answers, you also get a small bar chart of each value.
- Date — earliest and latest answers, plus a bar chart grouped by day, week, month or year depending on how spread out the dates are.
- File upload — the total number of files uploaded, the share of people who uploaded at least one, the average / fewest / most files per person, and a breakdown by file type.
- Short text / long text — a word cloud of the most common words and two-word phrases across all answers (common filler words are filtered out), plus the response and unique-answer counts. For the exact wording of individual answers, use the Participants table.
Which view answers my question?
- "How did people answer question X?" → Form Insights.
- "How are sign-ups and revenue doing?" → Registration & revenue analytics.
- "A specific cross-question calculation" (e.g. "how many vegetarians are also under 18?") → ask the AI assistant.
💡 Tip: The insights update as new people sign up — there's nothing to refresh or configure. A question with no answers yet simply shows an empty card until the first response arrives.
